HouseNotes – Keeping in Touch
HouseNotes, the newsletter of the Victorian Foundation for Survivors of Torture, is produced three times per year.
Stories on our work with survivors of torture and their communities, political developments affecting people from refugee backgrounds and snapshots of the daily life of the Foundation House community, are compiled in each edition to help us keep in touch with the many supporters, members, donors and colleagues who are connected to our work.

Contributing to HouseNotes
Foundation House invites and encourages the submission of articles, stories and items of interest for inclusion in HouseNotes. As well as material produced internally, Foundation House also invites contribution of material from other organisations in the health, refugee and human rights sectors.
The newsletter is compiled, edited and then distributed electronically (at www.foundationhouse.org.au) and by email to Foundation House members, supporters, staff and colleagues working in other organisations.
The following material will be accepted and considered for publication:
- Articles and stories relevant to the work of Foundation House (maximum 300 words)
- Items of interest, events and publications to be promoted which are relevant to the work of Foundation House (maximum 100 words)
- Digital images relevant to written material submitted (jpeg format).
